This is the third, and hopefully the last, time I have/will move from a domain and setup up a new "blog." The last time I officially wrote in my blog I was (for tax purposes) single, living in my first house, and working the same job I had tenured for nearly a decade. Now, 18 months later, I have tied the knot, sold and bought a new house, and found an opportunity within a truly great company.
Of course I plan on starting this new version of PT with more specific goals:
1 - I will never regurgitate the crap that's published on every friggin blog related to gaming.
2 - Shall lead "The Henchmen" to dominate tournaments at Penny Arcade Expo '08!
3 - Write more about my life.
Who are "The Henchmen" you say? We are newly formed clan of adult gamers who compete in tournaments around the U.S.; specifically the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, WA.
In addition, I am adding film/tv/book reviews to my repertoire. This may seem silly but, I really find that we as a culture of gamers are staying to specific to what we know; i.e. pixels, downloads, DLC, demos, AI, etc. But rarely to we get to see, or for that matter, read what these gamers really have to say about politics, media, and being a function part of this society.
Granted, you'll have a better idea of how things will breakdown after my first couple of months of postings, but I guarantee that I will do my best not to make this any run of the mill blog.
