10. John McCain has admitted that he does NOT know how to use a computer. It's no longer an age where we can afford to have representatives that do not understand technology or culture. To be an elected official in this day and age you had better know your constituents and know what how to communicate with your peers. I ask you this: if John McCain can't use a computer, what other technologies does he not have a grasp of? Or better yet, how those technologies could help propel our economy?
9. John McCain is unaware of how many houses he owns. For a candidate who has slammed his opponent as being "elitist." It seems strange that someone so down to earth would be incapable of answering a question like "how many homes do you own?" Okay, he married into money. So what. They have been married for some time now, it's not as if he inherited this windfall of cash yesterday. At best it means that he's getting old and losing some memory neurons, at worst it means he's ungodly wealthy and doesn't understand how the average American makes a buck.
8. John McCain has voted against MLK day in Arizona. I really don't need to elaborate here, but if you don't feel that the untimely death of one of the world's largest activist for freedom and equality, then you may not be a patriot. Say what you want about MLK Jr. not being a president, but at a crucial time in American history, Martin Luther King Jr. held the racial tensions at ease as best he could while preaching of a unified country and freedom for everyone on Earth. He's also the youngest to ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize, and an advocate for equal rights on the global stage. If John McCain doesn't believe that MLK deserves a holiday it begs the question: "who does?"
7. John McCain feels women don't deserve equal pay. Gonna let the article do more talking than I could. Essentially Mr. McCain believes that women need more training and education before they can make equal pay to men and women. He also says some other interesting things!
6. John McCain is superifical. After returning from Vietnam as a prisoner of war, John McCain left his wife and the mother of his eldest three children. The former swimsuit model, who had been completely faithful while he was POW in the Hanoi Hilton, was horribly injured in a car crash that left her disfigured. So I guess when the going gets tough the tough get a new wife!
5. McCain may not be the voice behind the campaign. Granted every candidate has advisor's and not all of his policies are going to be theirs and theirs alone. But we've had eight years of on president who felt like he could fall asleep at the wheel. We can't afford anymore even another month of this hands off approach to politics.
4. He's using the same talking points. While many of his ideas may be different, the Senator from Arizona is eerily similar to President Bush. Let me summarize John McCain's talking points in four bullets.
a. My opponent doesn't know...
b. I know how to...
c. Obama is an elitist/radical/terrorist.
d. My friends...
3. John McCain is in bad health. He's 71 years old and it is likely that he could not survive the stress of the presidency - FACT.
2. The Arizona senator is running a dirty campaign. From enabling comments that refer to his opponent as a terrorist, keeping his VP candidate from talking to the media, or running fact-less demeaning ads; McCain has made it clear he intends to win at all costs.
1. Sarah Palin is well...you know. Sorry but I feel for all of the women in my life. As they see Sarah Palin talk or listen to her ideas they must cringe. Probably the same way I cringed when I heard Alan Keyes run for the presidency in 2000, or Al Sharpton who ran in '04. What is clear is that Palin hold's her beliefs above those of the general populous, that is what makes her inadequate as a leader. Leaders listen, they don't preach. If McCain/Palin were elected, women would take a serious step back in all they have worked for in women's rights over the last 40+ years.
